Implant treatment is a modern, predictable way to replace one or several missing teeth. An implant replaces the tooth root and gives a solid foundation for a crown, a bridge or a full rehabilitation.
How we assess and plan
Treatment starts with a consultation and a 3D CBCT scan. We assess the volume and density of the jawbone and the position of the nerves and the maxillary sinus — the implant size, position and angle are planned from this data.
Where useful, we add Diagnocat AI analysis and intraoral scanning. We use implant systems that meet international standards and build an individual plan for every patient.
Treatment stages
Diagnostics and planning
A consultation, a 3D CBCT scan and an individual treatment plan with a preliminary cost estimate.
Surgical stage
The implant is placed under local anaesthesia. In some cases it can be placed straight after an extraction — this depends on the clinical picture.
Integration
The implant fuses with the bone (osseointegration). During this period patients often wear a temporary restoration so that appearance and chewing are preserved.
Prosthetic stage
After a digital impression, a custom abutment and the final crown are made — zirconia-ceramic or E.max.
What the stages and timeline depend on
- bone volume and quality — sometimes bone grafting or a sinus lift is needed;
- gum health and hygiene;
- whether the tooth is extracted at the same time or beforehand;
- the number of implants and the type of prosthesis;
- smoking and general health.
